Terms of Use

Effective September 5, 2026

The app

Drift is provided free of charge for personal use. There is no account and no subscription. A tip jar exists in Settings; tips are voluntary, they unlock nothing, and every feature works without them.

Coming from Drift 1.x

Earlier versions of Drift sold monthly and yearly subscriptions. Those subscriptions are closed to new sign-ups, and every feature they used to unlock is free in this version. If you still have an active subscription, you can cancel it yourself from your iPhone's Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Everything you saved carries over unchanged.

Where suggestions come from

Places come from Apple Maps and events come from Ticketmaster's public Discovery API. Drift does not verify, guarantee, or take responsibility for the accuracy of a listing, an address, an hour of operation, or an event's date or price. Confirm before you go, the same as you would with any map or listing.

Ticketmaster

Ticketmaster is a registered trademark of Ticketmaster L.L.C. Drift is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ticketmaster. Event data is provided through Ticketmaster's public Discovery API under its terms of use.

Your data is your responsibility

Your saved places, saved events and history live on your device. Deleting the app deletes the copy on the phone.

No warranty

Drift is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It is made by one person, and while it is built carefully and tested, it may contain errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from use of the app, including lost data, a missed event, or a place that turned out to be closed.

Changes

These terms may change; the effective date above changes with them.
